NContro was created with one simple idea: planning an event should feel exciting — not overwhelming.

Behind every wedding, celebration, corporate event, conference, and unforgettable gathering are dozens of decisions. Finding vendors. Comparing options. Requesting quotes. Checking availability. Keeping track of conversations. Managing payments.

And for the professionals making those events happen, the process can be just as complicated.

We believed there had to be a better way.

So we decided to build it.

Built From Experience, Not Just an Idea

NContro was founded by two entrepreneurs with different backgrounds but a shared understanding of what it takes to bring an event together.

One of our founders is an Executive Chef with more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality and event industry.

After decades behind the scenes of events, he has seen firsthand what vendors deal with — changing guest counts, tight timelines, client expectations, staffing, pricing, last-minute requests, and the countless details required to deliver an exceptional experience.

That experience gave NContro something we believe matters:

A platform for event professionals should be built with an understanding of how event professionals actually work.

Our other founder comes from the world of entrepreneurship, business operations, marketing, customer experience, and building service-based businesses.

Working directly with customers and small businesses revealed another side of the problem: great businesses often struggle to get discovered, while customers spend hours searching websites, social media pages, directories, messages, and search results trying to figure out who to trust.

Together, those two perspectives became the foundation for NContro.

Why We Built NContro

We didn't want to create another vendor directory.

We wanted to create a place where the entire connection could happen.

A customer should be able to discover event professionals, explore their work, request quotes, communicate, book services, and manage important parts of their event without piecing everything together across multiple platforms.

At the same time, talented event professionals should have a better way to showcase their businesses, reach new customers, manage opportunities, and turn inquiries into real bookings.

NContro is being built for both sides of the event.

For the person planning something important.

And for the professionals working behind the scenes to make it unforgettable.

There are incredible caterers, venues, photographers, DJs, florists, decorators, videographers, transportation companies, and other event professionals everywhere.

Many are small or independent businesses.

They don't always have massive advertising budgets or teams dedicated to marketing them.

But they do incredible work.

We want NContro to help those businesses be discovered while giving customers a simpler way to find professionals they feel confident hiring.

Because the best vendor for your event shouldn't be determined solely by who spends the most money on advertising.

Sometimes the perfect vendor is already nearby.
